Palazzo Pant With a Tuxedo Twist

Let me begin with an admission of truth; I have always hated palazzo pants. There. I’ve said it. Whew! It is, therefore, with a certain degree of dismay that I’ve watched them rise in popularity of late. Now, I’m not one to jump on bandwagons and ride off mindlessly chasing trends in spite of myself, but some of the palazzos I’ve been seeing have turned my naysaying head. Cut to my latest closet shop (this is where I dig into the recesses of my wardrobe and discover a piece of clothing anew), where I unearthed this pair of Louis Verdad tuxedo trousers. Some might argue their palazzo-authenticity, but for me, the wide leg gets me as close to the trend as I’m currently comfortable. And what’s not to love about a tuxedo pant? If you don’t own any, it’s time. What Marlene Dietrich started Amanda Garrigus and her merry band of blog-loving friends will carry forward! But let’s get back to the palazzo, what’s your stance on the billowy pant?
