Sailors, mimes, Beetlejuice and the Fall 2016 collections love them, so why not us too? Stripes make a bold statement whether you’re battening down the hatches, or sashaying down a runway (perhaps toward a waiting private jet?). They’re at once classic and alt, and if you wear them the right way, you’ll win major style points. I’m wearing a dress I’ve worn before, most notably (at least to my mom), at NY fashion week many seasons ago where I interviewed Gwen Stefani for E!. So I’ve loved this Silence + Noise dress long time. Thank goodness some love affairs are built to last. In the immortal words of Marcel Marceau… “”.
